Input from the membership

The PSAC needs to know what the members expect from the next round of negotiations, particularly in terms of changes or amendments to the existing collective agreement.

All demands must be submitted to the National Component in electronic format.

Please use one form for each proposal. Locals are also asked to submit the relevant background information for each proposal, including:

• an explanation of the problems, if any, being encountered at present with the current provisions of the collective agreement; and
• the reasons or justification for any new proposals.

The Component will ensure that all input is translated, collated and forwarded to the PSAC negotiator.

The representatives of the negotiating team

Locals will also need to elect their representative or representatives for the negotiating team. The dates for the negotiating meetings will be announced in the near future.

The names of one delegate and alternates to the Bargaining Conference must be submitted to the Component office. Should assistance be required at the local level, with respect to planning or conducting the meeting of the membership or the elections of delegates and alternates, locals should feel free to call on the Vice-President or Assistant Vice- President for their region.
