TREASURY BOARD BARGAINING
Input Call - PA, SV, TC, and EB tables
This serves as an input call for the above-mentioned Treasury Board bargaining units.
Under the collective bargaining procedures, as defined in Regulation 15A passed by the National Board of Directors and as outlined in the attached Program of Demands, National Component locals are to send bargaining proposals to the component no later than September 15, 2010.
The easiest way to submit bargaining demands is by using the online demands submission form found on the National Component website: http://www.nationalcomponent.com/collective_bargaining/start.php
Please note that the online form will require you to submit local demands one at a time. You will receive a confirmation message upon submitting your demand.
Alternatively, you may also use the attached form to submit your demands. Demands that are not sent electronically be returned to you. Forms should be emailed to: suzanne.boucher@national-component.org
To assist the bargaining process, local must submit all the relevant background information for each proposal, including a detailed explanation of the context behind the proposal, such as problems experienced with the current provisions of the collective agreement, the rationale for new provisions, the underlying objectives that the proposal seeks to address, and so on.
As indicated in the Program of Demands, the National Component is limiting the number of demands to 20 per local. Only proposals with a complete rationale and justification will be passed on to the PSAC.
As mentioned above, the deadline for receipt of bargaining demands from National Component locals is Wednesday, September 15, 2010.
