Education, Honours & Awards

1. Review all Component, Conference and Seminar guidelines on an ongoing basis and recommend changes as appropriate.
2. Identify trends to assist members of the National Executive in the development of Conferences and Seminars.
3. Review a summary report of evaluations after each Seminar or Conference and provide advice to the National Executive as appropriate.
4. Review and make recommendations on all proposed courses to be offered by the National Component.
5. Identify and develop training modules that will assist our members achieve the mission of the Component.
6. Review any other issues related to education referred to it by the National Executive.
7. This Committee shall be responsible for dealing with all National Component educational awards, including:
   • Adult Bursary to an Institute for Higher Learning
   • Alfred Papineau Bursary
   • Laurier Auger Bursary
8. Quorum for the Committee is 50 percent of established committee members which must include at least one Regional Vice President.
